Is it more meaningful if we brag about ourselves, or if someone else speaks highly of us? Faithfulness, kindness, generosity, good character, virtue, and other admirable qualities are often noticed by others. But even if people don’t recognize us to the degree we would like or say enough good things about us, Yahweh sees everything and nothing escapes his notice.
